SINGAPORE — The Certificate of Entitlement (COE) quota for the period August 2013 to January 2014 will be 20,825, the LTA announced today (July 12).
Motorcycles had the largest share of new quota with 5,766 while 4,367 and 4,478 COEs will be reserved for small and big cars respectively. The open category will have 3,129 COEs and good vehicles and buses will share the remaining 3,085. Bidding under this quota will start with next month’s First Open Bidding Exercise.
A total of 3,471 COEs will be available every month during the six-month period before that. The monthly quota for Category A and B cars rose to 728 and 746 respectively while the quota for motorcycles fell from 1,012 to 961. The monthly supply in the Open category will increase from 476 to 522.
The next COE quota announcement for the COE bidding period from February 2014 to July 2014 will be made in January next year.
